Day 21 of 28 Days of BHA

In 2013, BHA purchased back 212 Hummel. BHA had sold it in 2008 due to it having small one bedroom apartments and not being ideal for the family sizes BHA serves. The building had gone into foreclosure and BHA acquired it again so that it would not become blighted. We renovated the building into larger apartments to better serve our families. We were able to expand our program and serve more families through a collaboration with Dauphin County Children and Youth. We are supporting families who are involved in Children and Youth to help them keep their children in their care or help their children be returned to their care. Join us to continue meeting the needs of our community and take the 28th Year Challenge. Make a recurring monthly gift of $28 to help provide a family with a home and hope.
