Planning For A Future With Hope
 
Our Summer Newsletter (PDF 5.3MB) has been posted on-line. For those of you on our mailing list, you should see it in the mail in the next week or two. But you can get a sneak peak here and read about our first Bagwashi Circle to get up and running, as well as a host of other highlights and updates.

There is one very important item in the newsletter that I want to point out here. Thanks to a capacity building grant from the Compassion Capital Fund, we’ve been working with a strategic planning facilitator to walk us through a comprehensive strategic planning process. The following strategic goals were developed, leading us to currently be working on action plans and outcome measurement:

• Goal I: Increase Board Size and Diversity
• Goal II: Strengthen, Grow, and Make More Effective the Transitional Housing Program
• Goal III: Attain Staff Structure and Competencies to Achieve Vision and Mission
• Goal IV: Assure Financial Sustainability of BHA
• Goal V: Re-evaluate BHA’s Vision, Mission, and Program Components

Please keep the BHA Board and Staff in your prayers as we continue this process.
